A beautiful midwest small town full of interesting islands, shipwrecks, and maritime life.
some of my favorite photos come from the superior coast
Visited the Bean, the famous Pier, and my favorite, the Chicago Institute of Art.
only in the summer, never in the freezing cold
climbed the tallest fire tower in MN
Represented Team 6749 in FRC worlds competition.
many favorite memories from here
The place where I called home for 18 years.
I recently discovered Kreuzberg Coffee, a beautiful gem full of art, coffee, and a welcoming vibe. I highly recommend the Strawberry Nitro Lemonade!!
Future read: The Lourve Heist: What Was the State of the Museum’s Security?
Great during the summer… frigid in winter.
been many times, never gets old. My favorite: Wisconsin cheese curds.
A vibrant coffee shop with skateboards, retro video games, and one of the best chai teas I’ve ever tasted.
The Palm Theatre is one of the gems of SLO that is keeping me here. Their movie showing process is archaic and unique, and I love it that way: a selection of monthly pre-ordained moves fitting certain themes, genres, or filmographies. It is always such a joy go through and add their showings to my calendar. Thank you for being a safe space; one that I can always come to and cry my sorrows out and laugh harder than I ever have.
A quaint bakery and cozy coffee shop perfect for working remotely and taking a minute to escape.
Played some of my favorite songs:
- Sticky
- Loved You A Little
- thoughts while i’m lying in my bed
- i think about you all the time
- right girl
- palms
- bad behavior
John O’Callaghan was such a funny lead singer, definitely a well worth it drive up.
One day in the future, I would love to visit author and podcaster Ryan Holiday’s own bookstore in Bastrop, TX. His titles are intricately curated based on depth, writing quality, and best sellers. See https://www.thepaintedporch.com/ for more.
A fun visit go visit a friend’s work trip in Ann Arbor, and then a quick jaunt to Chicago.
